When you open QuickBooks is just fine, but when you try to switch to multi-user mode, got a QuickBooks error code H202, it crops up mostly when the computer that you are using is unable to access a file from the main server. There are various reasons for having this error code. Mostly any one or more of the following can make the error crop up on your screen.

Check The Hosting Configurations

Hosting configurations aren’t set properly, then it is certain that you will face this error. You need to try and get these details correct. If only the server has Hosting turned on and all other computers have Hosting turned off, it should also do the trick.

Check The QuickBooks Firewalls Setups

QuickBooks firewalls are set to reduce communication. It might be a big hindrance in getting to the server. The firewall can easily restrict communication or bar it completely making it impossible to reach the server without resolving this first.

Check The IP Configurations With QuickBooks
