- Do it manually by clicking on the start button and then type command in the search box, hold control and shift and press enter.

- Use a disk cleanup utility like WinSweeper to clear out temporary files and folder or use windows disk cleanup tool.

Approach 4
- Open windows explorer, navigate to C:\Program Files\Intuit\QuickBooks and right click on QBW32.exe and select properties and click on the digital signature tab. Check that Intuit Inc is chosen from the list.

- Click next and then on Finish and restart the computer.
- Try downloading the update. It should work.
